Stomping Ground Studios is currently looking for an experienced Pilates Instructor who is positive, energetic, and friendly to work in our fully equipped Pilates studio.

We require someone who is qualified to teach mat, reformer, trapeze table, chair, and barrels.

This person must be able to work independently, be punctual, friendly, trustworthy, and reliable.

We require someone for the Saturday shift from 8:30am – 12pm to start January 16th 2021 with the possibility of adding other morning or evening shifts during the week.

Stomping Ground Studios is Growing!

We’re seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Administration Assistant.

As the Customer Service & Administration Assistant for Stomping Ground Studios, youʼll be the first point of contact for our customers, responding speedily to all customer issues. As one of our most visible representatives, you’re one of our brandʼs ambassadors!

Your 6-star customer service will help us to foster happy and loyal customer relationships for years to come. This is a casual position. Must be good with communicating with and managing children, parents and adults.  Must have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.  Must be available to work Wednesday – Saturday with flexibility to work other shifts when needed.

Estimated Hours Per Week: 20 hours

Tasks and Responsibilities

We are looking for a clever, creative, tech-savvy, smart-working and detail-oriented star to join our team as the Customer Service & Administration Assistant.

You’ll already be excellent and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service as well as being excited to work on administrative tasks. You’ll have outstanding attention to detail and a strong drive to provide an out of this world customer experience each and every time.

The Day To DayWhat Youʼll Be Doing Exactly

Email Management

– Management of main email address.
– Deleting SPAM.
– Adding and managing all contacts to Mailchimp and tagging appropriately.
– Communication emails to customers via Wellness Living booking software.
– Responding to customer emails and other business emails as directed by our Studio Manager.

Organisation & Administration

– Opening & closing studio.
– Checking, completing and adding tasks in
– Communicate with staff via Slack
– Organisation of Google Drive folders and files.
– Creating databases through research.
– Creating and managing documents in Google Drive.
– Creating PDF documents.
– Creating reports, forms, templates, spreadsheets etc.
– Online research.
– Managing edits and additions to SGS website.
– Publishing newsletters via Mailchimp.
– Scheduling, cancelling and managing classes, events, workshops, private lessons, studio hire in Wellness Living.
– Manage customer trials and bookings. Follow up trial, enrolment, studio hire and feedback forms.
– Manage Sports Voucher forms and remittances.
– Save testimonials from emails, forms & Wellness Living reviews.
– Creating designs, updating timetables in Canva and customer newsletters in Mailchimp.
– Add and remove members, post notices & manage groups in our Band app.
– Invoice customers.
– Follow procedure playbooks and create new playbooks as necessary.
– Cleaning bathrooms and other areas as necessary as well as water plants.
– Track and order studio supplies.
– Fit ballet shoes, order and sell other studio retail items.
– Assist in organising studio events
– Print and photocopy documents as necessary as well as timetables to fill brochure holders.

Social Media

– Collating & adding photos, testimonials etc to the Social Media folder for our Social Media Lead.

Customer Service

– Greet our clients and be our friendly first point of contact.
– Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
– Answering and making phone calls and responding to messages.
– Calling prospective customer leads and past customers.
– Following customer retention strategies.
– Keep records of customer interactions and process customer accounts and payments via Eftpos and Wellness Living.
– Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
– Manage flow of customer traffic inside of the studio.
– Take the extra mile to engage customers.
– You must be at least an 8 out of 10 when it comes to loving and understanding technology.

– Thunderbird
– Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms etc
– Canva
– You Tube
– WordPress
– Slack
– Facebook, Instagram

– Self-Motivated and Excellent Direction-Taker – You know how to prioritize the most important tasks (at times with minimal guidance), and how to think on your feet. At the same time, you pride yourself in your ability to take direction and deliver the desired result.

– Reliable and Punctual – You are always on time, in fact you are usually early, show up with a positive attitude and lots of energy.  You pride yourself on being a reliable team member.

– Excellent Communication Skills – You understand the nuances of email, phone and in-person communication, and can handle even the most challenging situations with professionalism and warmth. You’re also committed to keeping your supervisor “in the know” about your progress. (No one has to ever chase you down!)

– Excellent Grammar and Punctuation – You pride yourself on catching every typo!

– Deadline-Obsessed and Detail-Oriented – You love doing tasks on time, and checking them off your checklist! In fact, you are one of those people who don’t understand how some people can be so disorganized and tardy. Responding to emails with a sense of urgency and care is a source of pride.

– Personal Responsibility – If you make a mistake, you take 100% responsibility and fast action to remedy the situation.

– Customer Empathy – Imagining yourself in a customerʼs shoes, you respond with empathy and have an ability to not take grumpy or terse interactions, emails and phone calls personally. You see yourself as a bridge between company needs and customer needs. You know when itʼs appropriate to be friendly and accommodating and when to be firm.
