Georgia Lloyd began dancing at the age of 2 years old. Since then she has undertaken classes in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatic and completed exams in tap, jazz, ballet and contemporary. She has participated in many workshops, dance camps and with well known choreographers. For the past 7 years she has also been a part of CanDance for a Cure, raising money for cancer, and been a part of the CanDance Core Group for 3 of these years, standing up to speak and perform in front of hundreds of people. Georgia has completed her Year 11 and 12, Stage 1 and 2 SACE Dance courses where she was required to choreograph her own pieces and learnt about the background of modern dance. Georgia has been a student teacher since the age of 11 with younger students and as of 2018 has started teaching classes with students ranging from the ages of 7 to 16. She has recently completed her Module One Training to teach acrobatics through the Acrobatics Arts Course which is only one of many teachers’ certificates she’s wishes to complete over the next couple of years. Georgia is extremely excited to work with Stomping Ground Studios and to express her love of dance to students so they can express themselves too. It is very important to her that they are enjoying and learning through their classes at the same time and that she is giving them something to love.
