Alana Glapa started dancing at the age of 4 in Adelaide, South Australia. Her first experiences in dance were ballet and jazz however, she soon progressed to hip hop, contemporary, tap, acrobats and musical theatre/singing. She grew her dance vocabulary by completing her RAD ballet exams, CSTD Tap and Jazz certificates. Alana has always had a passion for performing and highlights a particular experience working for the Royal Adeliade Show in front of hundreds of people (working very closely with her friend Peppa Pig!). She is currently studying her Master of Teaching specializing in Health, Physical Education and Science. In combination with teaching she has an Undergraduate degree in both Psychological Science and Human Movement. Alana works as a casual retail assistant at Pandora while she finishes her final studies. She has a passion for hip hop and contemporary and working with students of all ages. Alana is looking forward to growing her passion for dance and teaching at Stomping Ground Studios.
